One river tour goes to El Fuerte and the other goes from Ahome to the mouth of the Rio Fuerte. That is the river that comes out of the Copper Canyon and meets the Sea of Cortez.
It is about a hour and a half run up to the restaurant where we have lunch. Beer, pop and water are free in the boat which is 22 feet long 9 feet wide and rides like a Caddie on the smooth river with a 500 H/P motor
